We are Mach 5 Foundation!
The story of Mach 5 originates in Hong Kong, a vibrant and multicultural community yet also polarised and fragmented. Whether due to the wealth gap, age differences, or varied ideologies, our beloved city only became more divided following the 2019 protests and pandemic.
In the midst of the pandemic, Mach 5 was born: our attempt to bring people back together and bridge socioeconomic gaps, through uniting people over education. We believe that by empowering individuals through sharing knowledge and skills, we can ignite a transformative change within communities.
Mach 5 is built on the principle of collaborative learning, where volunteers and community members come together to exchange expertise, foster mutual understanding, and unlock new possibilities. Whether it's teaching digital literacy, imparting vocational skills, or sharing entrepreneurial know-how, we create dynamic learning environments that transcend traditional boundaries. By tapping into the collective wisdom of our network, we empower people to become agents of their own progress, driving sustainable development and lasting impact.

Tutoring
Our tutoring programs are designed to help keen learners of any age to catch up and graduate from high school and continue their education. Many of our students seek assistance with English and math tutoring. We aim to enable learners to upskill and achieve their educational and professional goals.
Computer Literacy
Basic computer literacy is often a prerequisite for nearly any job. Our computer literacy program is designed to teach learners of all ages the basic skills demanded by 21st century employers.
Career Skills
Design a CV and preparing for interviews is a new experience for many. Led by human resources professionals, our career skills program prepares participants for this vital step in finding and landing a suitable job.
